Photo Contest Winners

The best in show in the Florida Strawberry Festival’s photography contest was awarded today at the event grounds in Plant City. The photography contest is sponsored by Spivey Concessions.

The highest award, best of show, was awarded to a photo taken by Bob Waters.

In the animal category, Frank Starmer won first place, Bob Waters won second place, Alan Gambrell won third place, and Michael Martin and Toni Colon won awards of merit.

In the black and white category, Stephen Hodgins won first place, Bob Waters won second place, Abraham Schoenig won third place, and Michael Martin and Kayla Stewart won awards of merit.

In the human category, Sandra Muench won first place, Angela Otero won second place, Leonard Martin won third place, and Jamie Harrell and Jayme Fuerst won awards of merit.

In the miscellaneous category, Timothy Rooney won first place, Katie Sparkman won second place, Brenda Rooney won third place, and Toni Colon and Frank Starmer won awards of merit.
