Otherworld formed in 2015 by brothers Conner Lindsay (guitar/vocals) and Ty Lindsay (bass), Otherworld’s sound was a created by combining both of the brothers different ideas. The first two EPs “Unto The Void” (2015) and “The Oblivion” (2016) were recorded with drummer Alex Logorz (2015-2016). After Alex’s departure from the band, he was replaced by Chris Sammy in January of 2016. The next month (February 2016) Otherworld would add Austin Baxter as a second guitarist and to complete the four piece lineup.

The band would start playing shows throughout the state of Florida opening for nationals in St. Pete, Sanford, and Orlando. On April 1, 2017 their first full length album “Upon the Wreckage” was released featuring 10 songs and album art by own bassist Ty Lindsay. Since its release Otherworld has recorded three music videos for songs: “Never to Rise”, “I for an I”, and “Phantom Limb”.

In July of 2018, Chris Sammy would leave the band to fulfill other endeavors. Otherworld would then find drummer Sean Patrick Sweeney to take his place behind the kit. Otherworld is set to release “Take Me With The Flood” in 2019 while playing shows in various cities. National acts Otherworld has shared the stage with: Seven Kingdoms, Burn Halo, American Evil, Saliva, Adrenaline Mob, Flaw, Crazy Town, Hed PE, and Dellacoma. To hear this band, click here.

In 2014 a new band was born, one that was steeped in particularly Jazz and R&B but appealed to a broader cross-section of the listening public. Founder and leader of the Beat Down Band, Juston Capheart embraced a style of music that bridged the gap that has often separated the musical taste of black and white America.
This group of aspiring men have aligned their unwavering dedication to a work ethic that has manifested a signature sound and defined the landscape of today’s R&B and Soul Music scene. If you’re wondering where the name “Beat Down Band” originated, “381, It’s a long story”.
The backbone of their work stylistically has a range of influences from Quincy Jones, Prince, Marvin Gaye, Donny Hathaway, Earth Wind & Fire, The Eagles, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Mint Condition, Maroon 5 and Musiq Soulchild. The bands attitude and work ethic reflect a mantra that says, “anything is possible if you just put your mind to it.” Being exposed to music at such a young age BDB is firmly rooted in many different musical traditions, including R&B, Gospel, Soul, Blues and Jazz music. With their unpredictable musical arrangements, jabbing hooks and sensual structure they have become one of the tightest bands in the Tampa Bay area. By returning to their own musical influence the Beat Down Band gives us a unique reflection and chronicle of traditional American music at its best, creating a library of music that will stand the test of time.
Eyes have not seen, ears have not heard of what’s about to go down with BDB. These young men are a force to be reckoned with. You have not experience a Bombostic performance until you “Rock with The Beat Down Band”. This ensemble of men is living proof that raw talent and ambition can still prevail in the music Industry. OakLee was originally formed in 2017 by Ian Davis and Jonathan Liptak. As a band we started out practicing cover songs and writing originals mostly country with a little taste of Rock. We quickly clicked as musicians and started a full band setup playing local bars and restaurants every week. Our full band setup became Lead vocals (Ian Davis), Lead Guitar (Dylan Smith), Rhythm Guitar (Jonathan Liptak), Bass (Cristian Zonner) and Drums (Grant Shelnut). As a band we have played hundreds of shows throughout the south in this past year and half. We are continuing to quickly expand with our music, playing anything from old classic Johnny Cash and Hank Williams to modern Jason Aldean and Eric Church. We even throw a taste of Rock ‘N’ Roll with anything from Tom Petty to Pearl Jam. We are trying to grow further as a band in the state and eventually throughout the country. Our Dream is to share our music and make sure the people are enjoying it and themselves at our shows. Music is a part of Life with us. We have since released our original music to sources like ITunes, Spotify, and YouTube. OakLee is prepared for the next step and we would love for new faces to join our journey! Growler believes in freedom, love and rock’n’roll.  We write infectious songs and perform exciting live shows.  Growler is a rock band based in Tampa, Florida. We are inspired by bands such as Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers, Big Star and Foo Fighters.

Growler released its first LP album “The Beer Papers” in February 2018.  Creative Loafing calls it “straight ahead rock and roll…hook-driven, melodic rock.”  Other music reviews include “…professional-level rock you should not miss” and “[The Beer Papers] is an album you have to hear live!”

Front man Logan Grant showcases a wide vocal range often compared to Stephan Jenkins (Third Eye Blind) and incredible talents on guitar and keyboards.  Prior to forming Growler, lead guitarist Dr. No played in national touring rock and blues bands including The Utensils, one of the most sought-after bands in Tampa Bay.

Lee Harang plays rhythm guitar and is known for his improvised on-stage antics during live shows.  Jimmy ‘Steel’ Calus is an award-winning bassist, craft brewer and steel artist, who was a member of trendy post-Americana band Genghis Flan.  Drummer Josh McClelland recently appeared on Shark Tank where his company got a deal with Daymond John.  Josh also sings backing harmonies. DBMK is the explosive alt-pop outfit from Tampa, Florida cutting through the scene as one of 2018’s most promising groups with singles “Heartscam” and “I Think I’m Bored.” The Tampa quartet began generating buzz after spins on WSUN 97X, Lightning 100, KROQ and other alt stations, as well as one-off support for acts like Bleachers, Panic! At The Disco, and Twenty One Pilots. DBMK has amassed a fast-growing online following and well over 3 million Spotify streams in the past year and continue to tour their extraordinarily energetic and vivid collision of a live show around the country. Blake Trent Band

“Born and raised in Orlando, Blake began his career in music within a worship setting during college. Learning guitar and piano from a young age, music became a foundation for perspective and endurance in his personal life. Blake began writing his own music at the age of 18 in hopes to bring some light to those experiencing darkness through impactful lyrics.

Blake released his debut EP on May 1, 2018. With acoustic music being a strong influence on his writing style, he sought out to complete an intimate piece of art with his childhood instruments. Tricia Kennedy joined the band in the summer of 2018, bringing an added level of intensity to the show with her skills on the drums.  Blake and Tricia are continuing to work on new material, and will be releasing alternative music with a full band in the near future.” To hear this band, click here.

G.W. Souther

G.W. Souther is a 4-piece band that features members originally from Alabama and Florida whose talents have combined to form a rather unique sound and stage presence in the original music scene. While being based out of Orlando, FL, The fellas released their debut EP “Freedom on the Line” in mid May 2017 which features the musical blend of reggae, rock, and a lot of soul. It’s drawn a lot of attention around central Florida as they continue to build a second body of work slated to be released mid to late 2018. While they spend the majority of their stage time performing various cover and original tunes, the recording process and creative develop is in full effect. With their
latest singles “I’m Cool” and “Dr. Bad Girl” already leading 2018, they continue to impress with the full production and songwriting. They got their start as a party band while performing in various venues across the state of Florida.
What’s so unique about G.W. Souther is the old school influence from bands like the Rolling Stones, the Beatles, and many more that play their instruments and sing on stage. Each of the 4 brothers bring something unique to the stage inspiring great vibes from elements like Soul, Pop, Rock, Funk, and Experimental. With the addition of guitarist and vocalist Drew Williams from Deland, FL, the brothers have added another soulful and experimental element in reaching people with raw talent and ridiculous musicianship. Prior to joining the band, Drew cowrote and played guitar on “Dr. Bad Girl” which features a heavy drive within the guitar performance as well as an edge in the
lyrics like no other music G.W. Souther has released.
The members individually have performed at various festivals including but not limited to The Tropical Heatwave, The Great Outdoors Jam, The Lexington BBQ Cookoff, The Disc Jam, SXSW, Lollapalooza, Bonnaroo, Osheaga, Outside Lands, and Corona Capital just to name a few. They have also worked with artist such as Cloves, Trae Pierce, Ty$, Hayley Warner, Christina Milian, G Eazy, Jeremih, and Snoop Dogg as session performers, producers, and engineers. Keep your eyes open and your ears to the music from G.W. Souther. They set out only to bring good vibes to a city near you! To hear this band, click here.

God’s Example

In the year 2000 God anointed 4 brothers to do His will and minister through music to this generation. Their father Pastor Emmanuel Roberts saw something special in His sons. He spent much of his time instilling godly values in them. He said, “If you are going to sing it, you have to live it! You cannot compromise!”

So one evening, it dawned on them, “Our name will be, God’s Example!”

The young foursome—Derrick, Jay, Kenny and Chris took that name and not only used it as name, but as a vision statement. “We pray that people can see Christ in us,” Derrick concludes. “We’re not perfect, we are in pursuit.”

The four grew up as preacher’s kids in Crescent City, FL at Walkers Chapel Church of God by Faith. It is there they learned about God and were able to develop the gifts God had given them.

In 2008, God’s Example self-produced their first project Breakthrough. The album spoke to where they were in their lives and ministry. Countless individuals have been and continue to be strengthened and encouraged by that project. 10 years later coming out of what may have seemed to be a hiatus, GE is releasing their new album Reality Show, which features gospel singer, Lorraine “Punch” Baldwin, who is also a Putnam County native (Palatka, FL). “We’ve never stopped singing and ministering, we really took time to develop as artists and to invest in ourselves”, says Jay.

Their new single, 7 Things, which was officially released on September 14, 2018, has already garnered the attention of the music enthusiasts and fellow music producers across different genres. Chris explained, “This single marks the maturation and evolution of our music from traditional gospel to also include urban and contemporary Christian styles.” The entire album highlights this group’s ability to reach a wide variety of people by crossing age, racial, cultural, gender, and denominational barriers while maintaining the same message of love, unity and praise. Kenny added, “we’ve always been a versatile group but I feel that this album allowed us to finally express that versatility.”

The single is currently available on the group’s website,, as well as most online music download and streaming outlets including itunes, apple music, amazon, and many more. To hear this band, click here.

Clemons Road

Florida is a place where the water meets the woods. A place that has as many farms as it does beaches. A place where children are raised on Hank Williams Jr. and Bob Marley. It is in this diverse state that Clemons Road calls their home. Blending Country music with an island feel or vice versa, the band always starts a party as soon as the first note rings! Pulling their influences from Sublime to Alan Jackson, Dave Matthews to Jimmy Buffet, or Lynyrd Skynyrd to Zac Brown Band, Clemons Road can keep all audiences heads bobbing and feet moving.

When Grammy award winning music producer Cliff brown (lead vocals/guitar) started making phone calls to start the band he didn’t pull any punches. “I had been writing songs and playing music for other bands and artists and this time I just wanted to do what I want to do. Play the music that me and my friends loved playing and not limit ourselves to any barriers”, Cliff explains. The first person he called was lifelong best friend and bandmate Eric Long (bass/vocals). Eric and Cliff have traveled the country playing together in various bands such as “Soulness” and “The Cliff Brown Band”. Cliff also landed Jason Baker (fiddle/piano/vocals). Jason has played professionally with many western swing and bluegrass acts nationally. Through connections with the local bluegrass scene, the band was introduced to Gavin Baulac (banjo) a bluegrass/progressive picker that can hang with the best of them. Josh High (electric guitar) has been playing with members of the group for over ten years and gives the band their full sound. Solidifying their huge sound is Chris Williams (drums). Chris grew up with the boys, right on the corner of Clemons Road, and has played in many bands throughout Florida.

The musical result is much like the place where they live. Putting all of their influences into a blender to make a concoction that everyone can drink! Cliff puts it this way, “We want to be a band that crosses cultures and breaks age barriers. We want to make people feel good and give them songs to use for the soundtrack of their lives!” To hear this band, click here.

Almost There

Four passionate individuals who eat, sleep and breathe music. Coming together from different journeys and influences to form  one of Florida’s best cover bands. Each has individually toured throughout the U.S. and beyond. they have vast experience within the music industry, opening up for bands like Kansas, Eddie Money, Craig Morgan, LA Guns, Zach Hexum,Thomas Nicholas band, Copeland, and many more. Winners of the Mai Tai Rumble battle of the bands competition 2013 in Daytona Beach, FL.

Rare versatility playing those familiar songs from the 60’s to today’s Top 40. At any point throughout the show, you can hear tunes ranging from Marvin Gaye, Led Zeppelin to Bruno Mars, Luke Bryan and Disturbed. There’s never a dull moment in this band’s performance. With their captivating energy, chemistry and progressive yet soulful musicianship, it is hard to glance away.

None other than a professional act with a dedicated fan base. Almost There gives a part of themselves, leaving the crowd with an unquenchable thirst for more. To hear this band, click here.

Melancholy Weekend

We all have loved music most of our lives and met playing at our local church. After about a year of playing together on Sundays, we decided to talk about starting a band together because we wanted to play at local live events. Our idea to just play at local events soon turned into wanting to make a CD with our own original songs. So after about a year of writing, planning, and recording we were able to launch our very first CD “Melancholy Weekend”. We love playing and growing together as musicians and are excited to continue to learn and grow as we make our way in the music world. To hear this band, click here.
