Florida Strawberry Festival® History Center,
Strawberry Queens Exhibit & Gift Shop

The Florida Strawberry Festival® is proud to showcase its nearly 90-year history with a new permanent exhibit in the Milton E. Hull Armory Building.  The nearly 2,500 sq. ft. exhibit covers five thematic topics that span the history and culture of the Festival. These include, most prominently, reinterpreting the tradition of the annual Florida Strawberry Festival Queen’s Exhibit, the Midway with its rides and Festival foods, Entertainment and its evolution from local to national headliners plus its many, many FUN contests, Agriculture, and how its competitions have developed generations of local and national agriculture leaders and the history of the Festival and its cultural touchstones.

The armory building has undergone a beautiful refresh with a complete restoration of its original tall wood ceilings, new lighting, and a fresh coat of paint. Be sure to listen carefully as you exit the history center to hear beloved Festival stalwart, Randy Scott singing the National Anthem as he did every morning as “the Voice of the Festival”.

The design and fbuild was completed by two local companies that specialize in making museum exhibits around the country. MAM Exhibit Design conceived and designed the exhibits, and ADM2 Exhibits and Displays fabricated and installed the exhibits. A dedicated group of Festival staff and volunteers worked tirelessly as content experts, photo finders, and culture stewards.

We hope you treasure the Florida Strawberry Festival® History Center, Strawberry Queens Exhibit, and Gift Shop as much as we do. We look forward to sharing BERRY sweet memories with YOU!
